Healthy in all Respects

Before Highgroove, Chris worked in 'Operations', building and managing complex systems at small Silicon Valley startups and Fortune 100 companies. This experience ensures that we're automating out the redundant, saving time, instrumenting the right metrics, using the right tools, and constantly scaling up our software and processes. He enjoys switching between programming languages and tools depending on the task at hand, and his Open Source experience (including 6 years as the Project Manager for the popular Gallery project) keeps things in perspective.
Chris has a Masters in Computer Science from Georgia Tech where he focused on network performance and fault detection, and built tools that are still in use on GT's network. He knows that any result is a product of the process used to get there, and is always working to make that process lighter weight and more effective.
Chris has been to every state in the US but is an Atlanta native that refuses to pack up and move. He's an avid mountain biker and occasionally wins some cash racing with no brakes at 40mph at the Dick Lane Velodrome for a team he cofounded: Faster Mustache. Between bike riding and system hacking sessions you'll find him trying to find ways to add order to the universe or reading books on system failures.
