Daniel's background as a technical consultant in the telephony space sent him in search of better tools and better solutions. He learned Ruby on Rails for fun (and to scratch an itch for a process that needed automating).
His background as a consultant took him all over the country, from Healthcare Research companies to Financial Institutions to Software Development firms. He studied Applied Psychology at Georgia Tech where he researched psycholinguistics -- the mental processes that occur while people speak. Which means, that when he's listening to clients and fellow developers, he actually knows what's going on in their heads, quite literally.
Daniel has been to 3 continents so far, claiming he has been bitten by a voracious travel bug. He's a Kickball Team Captain, and the team leader for Habitat for Humanity Global Village. He's also a self diagnosed beer snob.
