Before coming to Highgroove, Kim worked as an out-sourced Controller for a professional services firm that specialized in providing financial and accounting services to many companies in the technology industry.
She learned that financial budgeting and forecasting for technology companies is much different than for non-technical companies. In her role at this firm, she was exposed to many technology companies in various stages of growth and development, from newly formed start-ups to larger revenue generating clients. This experience makes her a great fit to work here at Highgroove as we continue to grow (and grow, and grow!)
Kim is from Florida and attended the University of Florida where she took class called “Computers for Non Majors” which was basically a programming class—in Fortran! After moving to Atlanta, she earned a degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She lives in Brookhaven where her two young daughters keep her very busy when she’s not here at Highgroove!
