Pamela has a background in embedded systems in cable and satellite boxes. But, she assures us that no, she can't help you steal cable....

Pamela has a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. She specialized in Theory and Platforms while at GT, having chosen them because they were the hardest, most intense, and because she actually enjoyed them. Her move to building back-end applications using Ruby and Rails is only natural, having experience with object-oriented languages, databases, scaling, and quickly learning new systems and APIs.

Pamela is obsessed with her dog, Captain Ahab, who is a 10 pound papillon that has impeccable balance and doles out high fives. She admits to having "a bicycle infestation" at home and she probably has one for sale at any given time. She swears she completes about 90% of her sewing projects.
