Healthy in all Respects

Patrick Van Stee researched distributed hash tables, distributed file systems and bootstrapping P2P networks as an undergrad at Clemson. While there, he fell in love with Ruby, much to the chagrin of his fellow Python academic cohorts.
As an undergrad earning his BS in Computer Science, he gave lectures (subbed for a professor) on redis with websockets using hip NoSQL databases as the back-end. Before he found Rails, he introduced and migrated an entire team to JQuery (and wrote a Facebook tag-like plugin) using the ASP.NET MVC framework as a summer intern. He's a fan of using the right tools to get the job done. Patrick started designing websites in middle school and landed his first web development job in high school.
He's a certified Radio DJ at 88.1 WSBF FM Clemson, which means that yes, he's heard of that band before, and he knew them way before they were mainstream, and way before they were cool. He can make a really good pizza, but he's not certified in pizza-making (yet).
